The project reimagines a newly purchased home through a comprehensive interior transformation and the addition of a new garage. The design responds to both functional and emotional needs, integrating a dedicated bedroom and a drawing corner for the homeowner’s mother into the overall planning.

The ground floor is opened up by removing existing partitions that once fragmented the space. This creates a single, flowing environment where living, working, and dining coexist seamlessly. A timber-and-glass partition subtly defines the kitchen while preserving visual connectivity, enhancing the sense of openness. Full-height aluminum doors replace most of the original windows, inviting abundant natural light and framing generous views of the surrounding garden.

Materiality plays a key role in shaping the atmosphere of the home. A palette of clean white surfaces, warm timber tones, and earthy fabrics establishes a calm and inviting ambience. Contrasting, darker finishes are introduced in the garage, master bedroom, and home theatre to create intimate and mood-rich zones. Throughout the project, refined details—such as natural stone accents and metal trimming—add a touch of understated elegance, completing a home that balances comfort, clarity, and sophistication.
